Infiniti EX35 Gets Renamed
Nissan Skyline Crossover For Japan
Nissan will be
releasing the Infiniti EX35 crossover in Japan
bearing the name Nissan Skyline Crossover. The
name comes from the CUV's relationship with
Infiniti G sedan, coupe, and recently-launched
convertible, which are known in Japan as the
Nissan Skyline.
The Skyline Crossover
shares its powertrain with the European-market
EX and will be powered by a 3.7L V-6 mated to a
seven-speed automatic transmission. In European
trim, this engine puts out 320 hp and 266 lb-ft
of torque. No word yet on when the U.S.-market
EX, which is powered by a 297-hp, 253-lb-ft 3.5L
V-6 mated to a five-speed automatic, will get
the new powertrain.
The Skyline Crossover
goes on sale Japan this summer. |
